VA benefits help Brian live with a birth defect linked to his father’s service.
Under VA policy, Brian’s spina bifida is presumed to be linked to his father’s exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Since age 2, Brian has received free health care, medical equipment, and compensation from VA. His mother Dee says VA benefits have been a “lifesaver.”
